Another entry into the base race over at Glam!, I decided it was about time to do some actual bona-fide fanart. The doll of a genderbent Inuyasha doesn't quite count, as much as I'd like it to. I was provided with a super cute base to use, so hey, why not?

I honestly feel that Rin is one of the more tragic and traumatized characters in the series, but unfortunately unlike the others (Sango, Kikyou, and Kohaku for instance) it's never really touched on. For her to maintain her cheerful disposition and dedication to Sesshoumaru despite all of it... it's really nothing short of the strongest thing I have ever seen.

In many ways, I am reminded of young Clare from Claymore, following Teresa and clinging to her to try to comfort Teresa. I think that she has seen Sesshoumaru's loneliness and broken heart, and is doing her best to save him since she is unable to help herself.
