I abosolutely love this mega form if I liked Treecko better I'd totally start with it just to get this but my mind is set on Mudkip. You did an amazing job on him though. I agree why Lightning Rod he should have either Multiscale or Rough Skin.

I think lightning rod is a great ability for this mega!~ Like if you had a water pokemon or a flying pokemon in your battle team in a multi battle, they'd never suspect mega sceptile's lightning rod because it's a grass type!~ No other grass pokemon has had it before...I think.
But! This is super neat~ uwu I like the thinner lines compared to official art and the smoother coloring. But personally, I still love Mudkip's big brawny mega. That's just me |D

Rhyperior can do better with lightning rod IMO, then it can take down them with rock slide easily while Sceptile doesn't have much to handle a electric type besides e-quake :c even then its not so reliable because a lot have levivate or part flying, ;^; it should've gotten something like moxie ;-; or something to power up sp. Attk :c
But regardless, we shall see how it plays out!!
