Just A Ifirit... Probably more 8 inspiration than a total re-design. *shrugg* Just an hour and a bit speed painting due to procrastination.I should really study cracks. I'm terrible at them.

It does look a bit like FF8's Ifrit... but with a lot more hair (!?mane?!), which does make it cooler... also liked the chains on the colden bracers... not sure any Ifrit has those... Cool either way XD
(Sorry for the late comments, brain was fried after thesis delivery and Had to spend a bit of time AWAY from the screens... Well, back now ^^)

YES! I prefer coming out of the ground than ascending from above. It gives much more impression of that 'Hell'! I wish I could grasp earth better so I could have had more rocks being burst around him.

This really is incredible! It's a slightly different take on Ifrit, with it's hair flowing like a fiery mane. The erupting fire and shattering earth creates an atmosphere of awe, wonder, and frightfulness.
