So... did anyone else ever wonder who Queen Serenity's lover was? I mean Usagi had to come from somewhere. LOL!!! The two queens, before all the baby making XD

Done for another SM contest. I had to pick an odd pair!

Edit: OK I might have mixed up with the black moon symbol that Prince Diamond and his gang had. I can't remember if Beryl's minions had it hahahah. Oh memory fail. I guess I thought it made sense and was nice for the picture because it'd make her an opposite for Serenity >.>;;;

This would have been one heck of a story to tell Princess Serenity if Beryl hadn't decided to destroy the Moon Kingdom. Beryl probably destroyed it because Queen Serenity left her so that she could start makin babies and covered it up by telling everyone she just wanted to bang Endymion's hotness

She impales Queen Beryl with the royal sword. The manga's a lot darker and more dramatic that way. More suicide, rotting corpses and villain killing goes on. It's quite epic.

Definitely! Despite the fact that it was supposed to have the same target audience it's a lot more grown-up and featured more well-rounded developed characters. Rei, Usagi, Setsuna and Hotaru all get different personalities and the later two get about twice the amount of panel time.

Unless you read Japanese, you're not going to find cheap Sailor Moon manga actually. They've long been out-of-print and generally you can only find them on eBay or Amazon.

Yep. But with the 20th Anniversary coming up it's looking like we're going to get new DVDs, updated manga and possibly a new series.

There isn't one at the moment. There's mostly speculation. The only concrete thing so far are the re-airings of the series and reprinting of the music/DVDs/manga.
