Anyone remember this? [link]Yea, well, the red-clad girly boy made a comeback. As a rather scrumptious elf mage! Girlier than ever. Even his hair has gone all curly and... funky.
The colored pic was my first try at getting his new design down, but I wasn't fully satisfied with it. Worked well for Copic practise, tho. *ShujiE dubbed it Serq's "evil version."
The main reason I scanned this was to preserve the lineart before I try to murder it with color. (Damn tricky markers...) I still can't believe I drew that.

I think what I like most is the way you represent the folds of cloth and the present shading. Hair highlights are good too, and knowing how to present those is one sure trick to make your work more realistic... you can do amazing things with copics if you know what you're doing, and that is one reason I like your work.
