FULLVIEW 'CUZ IT LOOKS BETTER THAT WAY.Remember when I said in my journal that I wasn't going to do an Easter drawing?
Well... I lied.
This is kind of the result from my poll thinger because a lot of people said they wanted to see what I can do with digital art.
It... eh. Digital art drives me nuts. I can't color. D: Even worse, this is, like, my 16th time CGing. *fails* It took about 5 hours and it looks really crappy and amateur. 
Especially the shirt... it's shaded really poorly and it looks like a beginner colored it. (NO OFFENSE TO BEGINNERS OUT THERE!!!) Ehh, I tried though. 
Best part I think is the face and the hair. Too bad the lineart sucks. I made so many mistakes...! The hands, the arm, the positioning of the legs, the shape of the head... 
So please don't critique on my anatomy and proportions. I know all too well what i did wrong and I don't want to waste 5 more hours trying to fix it. 
But I like the colors. (LOL THE COLORS ARE PRETTY MUCH THE ONLY THING I LIKE WHY?!??!)Coloring with a mouse stinks.
It's really hard. Especially when my mouse won't move the way I want it to. *wants a laser one* I want a tablet, but I've heard horrible stories of good artists buying them and using them and their art using the tablet sucks the first few times using it. (I hear this in the Art Scene forum a lot. :0) I want one anyways, though. At least I wanna try one. My mom said she'd get me one, but I'm still doing some research on Wacom tablets. 
Ah well, I'll just practice CGing more and I'll see what happens.Enjoy, I guess. *10 minutes until Easter is over!

This is a really cute picture, and I really like the ears. :3
The only thing is, the way you describe it is a huge turn off. "OMG, this sucks I hate it!!!" isn't really doing much for the people who watch you and like your art.

Get a tablet. Really! You need one now if you are going to work digitally. It will take you to the next level. The hardest thing is not being able to watch your hand while you draw but you do get over that. I had a little Wacom Graphire (The smallest one I think, 4"/5") for a couple years, it didn't cost me much and it was well worth the money. I've traded up to an Intuos now.
Oh yeah and now I've finished waxing lyrical about the joys of tablets... nice pic

Very cute. I like the pose and the colours you used. The background is simple, but nice.
I know you don't want critique but I do have this bit of advice. You may want to try a different method of doing the lineart. Real life inks don't transfer into digital art as well as we'd like them to.

That would be helpful. But if you had Photoshop you could do it without a tablet, the pen tool is awesome that way.

PSP X is supposedly compatible with tablets, but it would be helpful if you could make some nice flowy lines like you could in Photoshop. D:

Isn't everything compatible with them? They function pretty much like a mouse except you get to hold it like a pen.

It isnt bad for a person who does traditional art mainly. I think it's quite good! Better then what i can do anyway! CGing with a mouse sucks.

I love the soft coloring, but the "blush" thing under the cheeks look somewhat out of place.

LoL if you know whats wrong then why not correct it before you scanned it in xD
anyways get a wacom tablet. only ppl who say it sucks or had bad experience with it either had a faulty product (which is rare) or just dont have patience for learning somethin that is different -_- (and you seem patient enough for learning how to use it, but all it really is is gettin used to lack of friction and looking at your art without your hand in the way). trust me, it really helps when you use photoshop. i have one and ive only used it a few times but its really goood. only problem is the tip of pen wears out if you press too hard but that wont be a problem if you dont press hard xD.

I would have, but whenever I do lineart, I keep making last minute mistakes, and they're hard to correct.
Yeah, noticed that a lot of people who screw up with their tablets seem to be really nervous using it at first.

oh and in regards to the mold growing on the tablet xD im not entirely sure if its really mold but if you dont clean your wacom tablet every now and then some greenish, fuzzy stuff (guess thats what youd call mold?) would show up on it every now and then. the mouse's bottom also contracts dust and stuff real easily and it is really hard to get it off >.<.

Whoa... Don't be so down on your CG skills! Oo I don't think it looks amateur at all. I love all the warm colors you used. They're so pretty. Really nice color blending as well. Especially on her skin. The lighting is excellent. I love the little Easter egg basket!
