"I have lived in darkness since my hatching so many years ago... but do not pity me. My eyes still see... things that have been and at times, what will be. Still I long for one glimpse of a moon meant just for me..."

In the spirit of revamping old characters who either had ugly pictures or none at all, I revisited my old Gargoyles character and did some major renovations to her. I used to be part of TCoS, or "The City of Stone"; a dice-based Gargoyles game that went on for a while before the hype finally died down and apparently took the guild with it.

I admit it, she was a "sparkle-goyle" then named "Mysteria" for lack of imagination. Her backstory still has her hailing from Avalon, but now her name is Cordelia and she was blinded after her egg was damaged some during the long journey from the rookery at Castle Wyvern to Avalon. While it hinders her to a degree, her other senses have increased to allow her to function fairly normally using the wind currents and her familiarity with their home.

But in losing her sight, she gained the limited ability to "see" the history and potential future of objects and people she comes into contact with. While this has had it's uses, it's still no real substitute for being able to partake of her surroundings and siblings... something she yearns for more than anything.
