Description
Nightshade AKA Triona Quinn/Shale. This character started off as my obsession with Disney's gargoyles...and at a lack of ideas of making a new character for my X-Men RPG on ProjectJJ, I used Shale, and renamed her Triona Quinn. That was four years ago, and I started to revamp the Triona version of my gargoyle into that of an older looking Shale, giving her longer hair and, of course, an added mutant power; the ability to break down matter into a carbon based dust with a fine consistancy..and the ability to suffocate(thus the cloud of black near her hand). However, upon recent events, boredom, and hating typing out her scottish accent, I've decided upon the upcoming major plot turn, Triona is going to die, but bravely.
Strange enough, she's all I've been drawing for the past night and day...and I keep telling her in my mind "You can keep trying, but you're still going to die..." heh...

I wanted to play around with some of the extra brushes found in Photoshop 7, and different ideas for lighting and stuff. Turned out nicer then I thought it would...
