I actually made this yesterday in the midst of my coloring splurge, but thought that I should decide to upload it.
I ended up using this to update my Smashboards Avatar, though I normally try to make my icons exclusively seen via certain accounts so others know it's really me. Ah well, I still wanna share it show-wise.
Anywho! I wondered if I could be able to work my grip back onto daMuro for fun, mostly in the case of lineart, and further continue to color the image on Photoshop. So I did just that and it still looks fairly nice. Save for the rough-wriggly edges because I cannot do pichurs digitally from scratch.
So yes, for once, this is a 100% Digital Art from me~!
But any pic is satisfying for me, and I just wanna go crazy without having to go back-n-forth in using my laptop to scan my usual hand-drawn lineart to later transfer to my computer with the actual Photoshop program in it. Confused with my process yet?
This wasn't really supposed to be much. Just wanted to draw a simple Mega and color it all nice.
I shall probably make more quick ones until I feel like doing any bigger ideas on actual paper.
These are just for super-basic relief art. ( ^ ,^);

You did that all completely digital? I can definitely see the difference. Rock still retains the usual cuddly look that you draw him with, so I think the digital lineart is definitely an improvement. I also noticed Rock looks just a bit softer here, too. Also, I tend to see a lot of your artwork near the top of Google Images these days, even if it's somewhat unrelated to what I search. I guess that's a good sign, then.

Yepperoony, the only real difference compared to my usual art is that the lineart is also digital-- so I had to use a tablet and all for every thing and not just the coloring. Therefore, my lines will look a little wiggly, no matter though!

Sometimes Google likes to "give" you related links to things you look up often, if not hopefully the links lead to my Devi page and not somewhere else. That'd be suspicious.

Personally, I really do prefer drawing my lineart by hand, and I still do.
I only really try using the tablet to do lineart for small tests and quickies like these. I feel having the actual pen in my hands gives me more control, and also I can turn the paper however I need to.
Hmm~ Maybe it could be my tags. My name's in all my art tags, and perhaps it was some mutual tag that came up in relating to some artwork that had some Xenoblade in it. ( o -o);
Google is kinda weird that way, they'll link you to the most remote things when they can.

I've started to notice that you began drawing his face more... round? than you drew him before. Like a few years back , his face was more angular than, say, something from a few months ago .

Oh yes, I hadn't had a good grip on his youthful face when I first drew Megaman. Mostly because I had recently come from drawing a ton of more teenage, older males and whatnot. So, I've been trying to carefully learn to differentiate shades of some characters-- even if they're subtle differences.

I did? Ah, you must mean the extra detail I added into the eye-- the shiny line, maybe?
Otherwise, Rock's eyes should be basically drawn the same way. All I did was add an extra step by using the Dodge Tool in Photoshop (not sure if other art programs have similar buttons) and make those curves to give the eyes a brighter focus.

Yeah, that's what I thought too. I know there are tons more other artists that have a better grip on making extra lines look real stylish! I just wanted to try because why not? It's fun to experiment and see what you can do.

My my, that looks quite solid for digital art!Β Seems like if you could find a program to produce clean and thick lines like usually in your traditional pics, you might get to experience with new realm of things.

Technically, I could do this on Photoshop, but I don't know why I feel so uncomfortable making lines on that program when they are obviously much neater. I purposely used a web-like brush on daMuro because I liked how strokey the lines are-- the lagging bit seemed to feel right to me too, huh. ( ` ~`);
But hey, practice is practice, and I'm happy to hear this looks like it turned out well!
I'll just continue to experiment with things from time to time, and share 'em as usual so we can see what may work, yes?

All I know is Man of Action, the dude behind things like Ben10 and Generator Rex, is going to be doing this show. Not sure how I feel either, but I just wanna see a full-on medium of Mega Man that actually captures the real game-style essence of the series. Kinda like what Archie is doing? But in cartoon form.

Most of the stuff I try to make are awfully skinny and plain, if not just reproducing something that already existed.
