I can't believe how detailed this is!
Did you trace it, or drew it from scratch using a reference?

I traced the headshapes, saved time and ensured accuracy (did it inside of a day). The faces/colouring was my usual blocky-painting process (but at especially high resolution), referencing the same photos. I can't do realistic looking stuff out of my head, only stylized visuals!

Thank you very much! It's been too long since I worked on more realistic stuff, I feel out of shape and need to get back into it. I'd like to bust out the actual acrylic paints too sometime!
