Sort of experimental lineless piece that got out of hand quickly!Vitya is a character of mine for an upcoming comic.

I love how you played with light in this painting! The character design and the technique is great!
It's very interesting the way you decided to do the hair, it really looks good.
Things I would try to do next time: the floating gem stone seems to release lot of blue light, that it's well depicted in the character's body, but I find it should reflect more on the nose and less over the eyes. The same with the hair, it seems doesn't look too integrated because it seems to not have reflections of the the emanating blue light.
Aside of that, you did the eyes really good, it looks at the viewer and they're aligned well.
I also like a lot the hands, they have a lot of movement.
Great work! and keep experimenting, great things comes when you let your imagination fly!

I'm glad you like the lighting, figuring it out took most of the time i spend on that piece! I see what are talking about with his nose and hair not reflecting enough, i give them more love next time
