Hahaha awesome work. It is so wild how many photographers come to this place. It looks like you were there right around the time I was. Even more ironic, couldn't wait to post what I had gotten on DA, they were some of the first pics I posted here.
Beautiful shot in a beautiful place. Your other work is very intriguing as well.

Thanks!! the Methodist pics are all the way at the beginning...
yeah, it's like an amusement park for people who like abandoned places. i wanted to check the place out since before they filmed the new nightmare on elm street there. got to read up on the history & then on oct. 5th some good friends of mine invited me along. i was out of film before i left the auditorium!

i understand how that is... its a great place... but yes the one time that i went there with my 35mm i was out very quickly. thats why i like to go there with digital haha. but i cant wait to see the new movie there... i dont like the idea of them coming in there and making a movie there (personally) but... it should still be neat to see it on the big screen. they also went to some other local abandonment for that film too, if im not mistaken.

Yeah, can't remember where, but I heard that, too. My god, the actual budget and work on the set design to film a horror movie at the church would be minimal! The place does all the work for itself! BTW did you make your way into the bowels of the basement where all the standing water was? Eerie...

This is incredible, was it just a church or part of a much bigger building?
