EDIT: Changed some of the lighting effects, and cleaned up a couple of rough spots.Some more River/Doctor fluff.
I've been wanting to do something like this for a long time, but I was too busy with school. But now it's done! I was inspired by the Night And The Doctor episode called "Last Night". It almost made me cry, but it was too short to really get that kind of emotion out of me. I sure hope Moffat puts more stuff like this into the next season. I can't wait!
The TARDIS took SUCH A LONG TIME! Oh my goodness, I thought it would never end! Even now, I still see places where I could have done more, but honestly, I think it's good enough.
I feel like I'm getting much better at making the color pallet realistic. My pictures used to be very saturated. So, yeah, I think this picture turned out pretty great.

This is fantastic! And I think it would make a great illustration for a lot of my stories too, since I write a lot of Doctor/River fluff.
But, yeah, just beautiful. You really got their faces well. And it's wonderfully atmospheric.

my only "problems" with any of this other than not liking River... sorry, can't do it, is just that the softness of it sort of makes it feel undefined and dreamlike. maybe the intent you want, but once in a while with your art I would like to see more clearly defined focused scenes. I feel like this might have had more impact for me as an artist with more contrast between background and the characters.
Either way, I'm enjoying watching you grow and wishing my art was changing, too.

I'm enjoying watching it change. And I know I have certain opinions, and while I'm a huge fan of impressionist art, I'm not necessarily a fan of seeing it sort of tweaked in digital art in what feels like it should have more lines to it... in some ways. Like, it's almost like .. I can't even describe it. But beyond that I feel like how easy it is to recognise your characters and the anatomy is coming along great.
