Description
I had to draw Prince Phobos this way, because even one of the most feared villains must have been a cute child once.It's just a little something, not finished yet but I barely have time for detailed drawings.

He's my favorite character since I was 7 or 8 years. Throughout the years I did have other favorites too that's true but he's always been number 1

He's so cute in this! I'd imagine that, in-universe, his mom painted it with magic, and adult Phobos just never wanted people to see him as a little kid. I bet the Guardians would just tease him for it. BTW, I totally see those devious eyebrows! You won't fool me, kid.

In the comics it was stated clear that he ordered all his portraits to be destroyed and punished each person who dared to paint him or stare at him for too long. I think he wanted people to fear him, as a mysterious person, an enigma because this way the citizens wouldn't dare rebel against him for they did not know what to expect of him. He could have been a demon, a monster or any type of strange entity. His appearance is not fierce but rather angelic (tho his eyes do not lie-> the evil aura).
Since he is beautiful as a man I thought he was cute and beautiful as a child too (even girly)Β
And you spotted right my dear, his eyebrows prove that he is not such an "innocent"angel.

Even if he didn't try to wipe his own face from history, I think he would want to destroy this one. The Guardians' reactions to it, along with those of his less loyal followers(*cough*Cedric*cough*), would not be worth letting his childhood adorableness be preserved. The Cartoon Phobos kept at least one portrait of himself, somewhere in the background during the painting episode(it's a different canon, but a canon I accept nonetheless).
