I read that and laughed because it looks like this covers almost all those bases...lol. Not that I mind, I think it a rather insightful piece. The look of indifference on the "angel's" face as she's about to pulverize the other, as if it's just an everyday thing. This does illustrate, in my opinion, the way a lot of people go about flaunting their beliefs, religious or otherwise.

The daily deviation note really reminds me of Code Geass... it has a similar premise.

An accurate representation of religion in general promising salvation but delivering suffering and injustice upon the so called heathens. In the end religion is hypocrisy in it's purest form and that is why i'm an athiest.

I don't find this offensive at all, but I love angels.
Amazing work with the contrast with expression and pose in the two characters. I love the feeling of absolute justification in the attacker's face.
For me this drives home an ideal I've always lived by. There are no good or evil people, only good and evil actions.

Not only are the aesthetics very appealing, and the art wonderfully drawn, but the concept is incredible and powerful. It really puts the ideas of "purity," "justice," "right," and "wrong" into perspective. Absolutely phenomenal work~

Whoa nice pic. It speaks of many things. One that comes to mind is that the Angel may be delighting in this a little too much. 
I agree with the DD. Only I'll add this. It seems to me in my own personal opinion that it reflects people's feelings towards these icons. Good seems to be ever more controlling and unreasonable with being overly zealous to a point of corruption in their tasks and people seem to be sympathizing with perhaps the wrong side because of it.

Wow what a concept. This kind of reminds me of something I saw in a Dan Brown book. It basically pointed out how lets say side a and side B are going to battle. Side A prays and gets the angels on their side, they go to battle and are victorious. Now swap to side B. They don't think those things helping the other side were angels they would call them demons. That, like this picture, really made me pause and think about it for a while.

Still, great concept, and great art. I especially like the way you've used the color transition- being bright colors from the angel's spot, to the darker color for the devil. And on a personal note, i think its remarkable how you make your work. I mean, it looks like rough sketches for the lineart, but the final output is so refined, and completely...well... complete. Do you do your work on photoshop?

her nailing the angel wings onto the devil... so even the demons can be as good as the angels. you can feel the demon's pain, so... those who are good must be evil to rid the world of evil. wow.... i actually understand something.... XD
