The cover is quite gorgeous, it truly is. I love the color and elegance of the design.

But the sword ... the sword is from the wrong nationality. Um ... it's a Japanese sword ... on the cover of a book of a general who was Chinese. And their swords were quiiiiiiiiite a bit different. No less beautiful, but very different.

Funny you should bring that up. On the final cover the katanna was replaced with a more accurate sword. Can't remember the name of it, but it was more in line with a traditional Chinese sword. Haven't bothered to update it in the gallery though.Β

Very nice style! Love the flowing look to the letters and the ribbon. Though I'd have expected a bit more of a Crouching Tiger Hidden Dragon look to the sword...
