This is a fan art I made for this AMAZING Prometheus fanfiction called Reflection by Kukapetal[link]
Basically in this story, Elizabeth Shaw decides to save the engineer when he was battling against the trilobite.
Both lonely creatures on a wasteland
And a very sorrowful engineer

** SPOILER**
I always wondered why they decided to cut out the longer sequence between Shaw and the last Engineer in the 'lifeboat'. The Engineer looked so intrigued by human ingenuity that he seemed to loose his anger towards Shaw. Even when he finally saw her, he didn't look like he was intending to hurt her, just curious (and a little sad, perhaps...) Maybe I've just answered my own question... Perhaps they didn't want a sympathetic creature but an angry monster....

Yes, I agree. I hope Prometheus 2 (or whatever it's called) will show the Engineers in a better light.

OMG, this is such a sweet picture! They're so cute together, and the Engineer looks so sad I want to hug him. And I love how the pic reminds me of a stained glass window...very neat and fitting stylistic choice there!

I thought it'd reflect the sadness of the scene and the 'godlike' nature of the Engineer.
I hated how it ended in the movie :/ Engineers <3
