I stopped playing City of Heroes some time ago, and had recently checked it out again when it went free-to-play. I wasn't able to get my old account working so I just poked around a bit. It was a fun game, especially with a few friends to run instanced scenarios with.I learned that NC Soft will be shutting down Paragon Studios and with it the City of Heroes/Villains servers. Since I learned about it from the Soviet Superwoman , I felt it was fitting to draw that character in her original costume (or at least, from one of her 2009 screencaps) scanning the skies of the city she protected for so long. I guess there's one villain that no one can defeat. Entropy wins again.
Technical notes: yeah, I'm not good with colors, but this one wouldn't have had any impact at all without them. This was the second go at the linework, the first one I scrapped when I realized that her eyes were horribly misaligned. It's annoying to discover that after I inked the face, but such is life.
