Part of Marie's curse is to have to watch herself slowly turning into the demon within her. The tattoo on her back has the emblems of all the Ancients in their order of power.Related content

This reminds me of a story idea I had years ago... guy is born with this mark on his back, a symbol that he is a guardian of the Antichrist. Later I tried adapting it to be evidence of an alien infection. Neither of those projects got off the ground the way I had hoped, although the 'Unleashing the Beast' series did seem to work out alright. Great job, and I love the design of this character
