My interpretation of "The Red Shoes" fairytale. Created for the Twisted Fairytales contest: [link]I'm not terribly fond of blood soaked art, but this is the way I have envisioned this particular story, ever since I first read it, as a child. 10th Kingdom has informed me that the story actually comes from the idea of iron shoes, heated to be red-hot, but I still imagine red-stained shoes. It was an easy leap from that, to shoes made of blood.
