Description Playing Pokémon made me want to make fakemon abjgfsd-
So these here are starter Pokémon that I made because I wanted to draw cool animals that are cool, and not lame humanoids with animal heads. Obviously, they're more in my style than the actual Pokémon style, because my style is cooler than the actual Pokémon style.

But also! This here was an idea that I had from forever ago, which was to make starter Pokémon that aren't grass, water, and fire, because we've got plenty of starters like that, so instead these guys are fighting, psychic, and dark! (because psychic is good against fighting, which is good against dark, which is good against psychic. Y'know, to change things up for a bit for all you Pokémon players who already know that fire is good against grass.)

The psychic porcupine Pokémon is one of the original ideas I had from years ago, while the other two are completely new ideas. I just wanted to see how these guys would turn out now that I have bit more experience with designing things. (Originally the dark type was gonna be a fire bird or something, but I think we've got plenty of those at this point.)

Essentially, they would exist in a region of Pokémon in which the professor would be an incredibly intelligent fellow named Professor Psyduck, Who developed such a huge headache that he's now able to speak human and is considered the smartest Pokémon in the world. (If his headache were ever alleviated, he would revert to his normal psyduck self, so let's just hope that doesn't happen.) He wants to make Humans more aware of Pokémon as people by giving you a poke-communicator, a device that allows you to understand what your starter Pokémon is saying. (He is appalled by human's cruelty to Pokémon and wants that to stop, and tries the friendly way before going insane and taking the extreme route-)

Prof. Psyduck also helps the evil people hack into the Pokémon PC system later or something, but this is a hypothetical scenario so we don't need to go into too much detail here, you get the idea-

Now! Information!

First up, we have the fighting cassowary line, consisting of Flupal, Kickowary, and Seronin. These birds have lost the ability of flight due to their intense training. They are lone warriors, who usually take on only one student. Only the strongest are allowed to breed, and they never develop close relationships with anyone except their mate, who they will only partner with once they have also proven themselves to be the strongest of their kind.
As such, this species is very, very rare.
Seronin still has fully developed wings, but it uses them to stir up sandstorms as camouflage rather than using them for flight. It's said that if this creature didn't train all its life to fight on land and instead trained its wings, it would still be able to fly since these vestigial structures have not devolved at all.
It's also said that they are descended from a glorious species of birds that lived in the clouds, but descended to the ground to pursue a more reclusive lifestyle.
Their ability, Lone Warrior, prevents flying-type moves from being super-effective against them.

Next, the psychic porcupine line, consisting of Psyplume, Acupine, and Pricomaniac. these fellas are very in-tune with the emotions of other creatures. They are able to telekinetically control their spines in acupuncture to help relax others and heal them. On the contrary, they are also capable of using their spines for torture, but most aren't that evil. Most.
it's said that they have such refined accuracy that it's literally impossible for them to miss. Although they look prickly, they are actually incredibly soft, as they can choose which way their spines are facing to prevent you from getting hurt. As such, they never need to groom their fur and always look perfect.
Pricomaniac uses static electricity stored inside its cape of spines in order to levitate. Its spines are sharper and more precise than any needles humans have made, and its fur is softer than any fabric a human has ever made.
These Pokémon are very commonly sought after as pets due to their sensitivity and good looks, but some of them have developed attitudes from being in captivity for so long. They have been driven to extinction in the wild thanks to the pet trade.
Their ability, Puncture-Accuracy, raises their accuracy with each successful attack.

And finally, the giant cave salamander line, consisting of Salocu, Viezewt, and Skiblink. These creatures have become blind due to years of living in deep, underwater caves. They have no natural predators, and so are super friendly to a fault. They have many eyes, though their only function appears to be glowing in the dark to attract prey. They recognize others of their kind primarily through touch, and as such may be overly cuddly to trainers.
They have many, sticky arms that allow them to climb all over the cavernous walls in which they live. They breathe in segments through their skin, and are actually invertebrates. They were only able to grow to this size due to the highly nutritious waterways in the caves where they live, and if they dry out they would likely die of suffocation. They have a sixth sense that allows them to see underwater.
Skiblink has fewer eyes than its pre-evolutions, but maturity has allowed it to grow its bright blue tail to make up for this. Skiblink has a very limited range of color it can see, primarily being the color of other skiblink's tails. It is assumed that it uses this feature for finding a mate.
This creature is generally considered slimy and gross, and so is not popular among trainers, putting its very selective natural habitat under threat of invasive species as humans fail to make any conservation efforts for this species.
Their ability, Damp Eyes, lowers their accuracy, but raises it in rain, and causes rain and water type attacks used on them to heal them.

Aaaaaand that about wraps up today's episode of fakemon, maybe sometime I'll get around to redrawing the gerbil-seed legendary I made forever ago? Who knows. Maybe not. Either way, I could easily end up using these fellas for something else entirely since they're barely even Pokémon XD

BUT ALSO!  Here, we have the shiny colorations of all these Pokémon, because Seronin looks like a real cassowary now, and the porcupine is shiny and gold and the giant salamander is now a rock candy
