haha really simple and pretty crap painting thing i just doodled up while watching the first Berserker movie (omg i have a thing for Griffith now he is so beautiful. look at this gif if you dont believe me: 24.media.tumblr.com/tumblr_m99… )

I wanted more to play with mood more than anything else but well...
the reason i say its crap is because i merged without realizing i left the sketch there and saved...oops. :s

well anyway its a planned scene from a manga me and ~SweetShounenAi trade back and forth to work on. She doesnt know whats going to happen yet so i hope she doesnt see until then OTL
EDIT: oh yeah its this guy fav.me/d6cdb58 his design is pretty simple. i wanted to make it really fancy but for the sake of having to draw him over and over i tried to keep it easy OTL

PROBABLY LONG story thingy: ill shorten it as much as possible
This character is Fiey, a fox prince from a far away land
When Fiey was about 5-6 he was meant to be assassinated but for some reason or another the assassin couldn't perform the task (mercy on a cute kid perhaps?).
When the child grew he dreamed of the assassin in admiration and trained himself. Over time as he got older he realized the man's intentions but he had fallen in love with the deadly stranger long before that...
He found of his whereabouts many years later when he was 15. The prince went in disguise to become the assassins apprentice, becoming close to the assassin in a brotherly way. He knew he would be turned down if he approached the man directly and his family forbid coupling with commoners so he had to work in complete secrecy. (he normally wears a circlet with a ruby but there was no point bringing it on this journey...)
After becoming close with the assassin Fiey revealed his identity and begged the man to take him away from the palace and be together.
This scene is in a tavern room after fiey has just removed his disguise and confessed his identity. He waits for a response. what will happen? : O (it's actually a pretty sad story)

About the foxes:
In this land, foxes are very rare, and usually only royals. Their marriage and couplings are taken with intense seriousness because as foxes only mate for life (males anyway), it is very important to pick the right partner. Divorce is not an option. Foxes are very reclusive because many people are after their wealth and ownership of the land. If any foxes were to be taken advantage of (that were not already coupled), they would become emotionally attached to whoever assaulted them. This is one way people try to take over their rule. If a fox that was coupled were taken advantage of they would undoubtedly suffer in depression and deep shame.
