The amount of detail in the faces really draws a focus, despite their relative small part in the whole of the painting. your color palette is also quite nice, giving a sense of deep shadow and strong light areas. beautiful work really

Nice one. I love how it's almost cartoonish but still feels very real. I've never studied art or whatevah, but this reminds me of someones style...Am I thinking of a guy called Hopper?

I Loved Hoppers work. Theres a whole historical trail from Poynter to Homer to Hopper to NC Wyeth to Andrew Wyeth that Ive been in love with since I started painting.
Ive always been too anal with my work and I crave the freedom and confidence to paint like any of those guys. Cheers Liam. Made my day !
