She wanted us to be fairies. I know it’s not done yet, but I wanted to show everyone anyway *grins*
P.S. I do take commissions for these types of portraits (based on a photo), so let me know if you are interested and I’ll send an estimate based on what you want.

You are really good with pencil
I just wanted to give my opinion of two small things - it might be too late by now already, but - to think about next time, maybe
Take the mother's shoulder back by drawing the line behind her arm instead of before as it is now. (I don't know if I'm being clear here...) That make the stretched neckline more natural and clear, and expresses trust. You can see the line in the photo as well.
Also, give the child a wing in front of the mother's hand - you can see the baby's shoulder where the wing would be clearly. You can make the wings fragile, see-through, if you wish to show the hand, you could also make them little wrinkled, as new-born butterfly wings.
