Been meaning to color this one for a long time. Finally decided watercolors would give the best effect to match the mood of the drawing. I drew the original pencil art back in 2001 when I was pregnant with my first baby
The pencil version is one of my best selling prints *grins* Hopefully everyone will like the color version even better.

This is so pretty. I love it. I think her hairs one of the most amazing parts of it. I always have a hard time drawing men, but you can. Awsome.

Yeah...it's kind of rare to see an artist draw a male faerie without them looking effeminate or androgynous. I think you pulled it off, though, and it looks like there's a happy family in the making.

Beautiful. Always such a sweet pose to see, but somehow it is even more so to see it with fairies. Perhaps because one seldom thinks of fairie babies? Though I'm not sure I'd want to be the mother there, unless they're born without wings, and I'm going to stop now.

err...this one looks weird.as much as i love some of your paintings (i've visited your site and MISTY MORNING is one of my favourite paintings) this one has something a bit...unbearable.i don't know,maybe i'm not used with the fact that fairies can actually have kids or be pregnant...
