very nice work. Quick question: What did you use for the revolver barrel thing? (the domed-off cylinder if that's any more clear) I'm making this sword as well and am at a loss as to what i should use for that. Thanks!

i used a small shaving cream can and rounded it with epoxy putty and grinded it smooth, but i didnt do the details to make it more of a revolver, I would recommend craving it from wooden dowel with a dremel personally

Looking at all the progress pics I'm really impressed with the work you've done with this sword.
It's a fabulous prop :claps: I wish I can work with wood xD

Thank you! For every task there is a perfect tool, I was just blessed that my family had the right tools for woodworking. I am even more impressed by cosplayers without the perfect tools. That is a fabulous crossbow you made, I'm still at awe that it is not real

No prob! My dad has the tools but he thinks it's so complicated to make props lol
Why thank you~ I'm surprised it didn't break at all.

I kept working on it on and off so it was about 3 months of mainly woodwork and cutting metal, but I needed a year of blueprinting to know how to cut. I will post more pictures with details later ^^
