OK, time to type. First, I'm not really sure this is finished yet...I think it could do with more palette and contrast (help me out here!! comments and ideas?).For this piece I was heavily influenced by North Africa and what I imagine it to be (never been there!). There is something really alien, martian about the Sahara and I would like to experience it before my time comes.
I wanted to add more Touareg motifs on the girl but I'm not that skillful, therefore I settled for simplicity.

it is a really nice drawing and a really nice palette but theres the obvious problem in this drawing wich make me itchy everytime i see it
the head is to big to enter in that little hood, it feels like if you try to shorter her head to put it i nthe drawing unless it is the desired concept of your piece but seeing from your stuff i don't think it was was it? but aside that everytime is nicely done!

The palette is lovely and works well with the theme of the Sahara
I'd say maybe you could add more depth in the background by adding more shading to the pyramids perhaps (just to hint at the edges and the corners) ? And maybe add some specks of sand in the air (as though the wind is blowing a little). It might add a bit more atmosphere to the piece overall ^_^

I really love the way you use white. It's so subtle and tasteful, but really makes the whole piece pop. While I love the contrast between the flat background and the shaded girl, I think maybe the top corners could stand for some gradated darker color (perhaps purple or green to give it an even more alien feel?) Or maybe some rings around the moon. I'm just talking out of my behind, I love this!

I think it's okay, but it's off, for two reasons. First, her expression; she looks stunned or dumbfounded. Second, she doesn't look Taureg to me. This is what I think of when I hear or read Tuareg:
