Description
Once upon a time, in a kingdom far far away called Aman Elest, there was a noble elven warrior called Miriteno. He was as bold as wise, as noble as beautiful. And to him were true many men and he lead them wisely.

But once there was a war and whilst leading his men through the darkest of forests, something happened. To this day it is not known, what it was - but Miriteno was found alone with all his true men and friends dead. There he stood amongst their bodies and called forth all gods of Elesgal - and they came. One by one, with none missing. When all had arrived he cursed them - and he cursed them wild and denied everyone of them, as they stood and listened. When he was finally finished, the gods spoke and placed a curse upon him as well, and this is how it went:

To have no soul and walk the mortal paths
To live eternally of the vital of men
To despise his fate
And yet to make others of his kind
To yearn the light of dawn
And never look upon
To hunger and hate food
To yearn and feel no love
To wonder the roads no elves ever take
Doors of the Golden Forest shall be sealed

When silence fell, alone he stood, and cursed. Only a black crow peered at him and giggled.

PS. I am fully aware that the model is blurry etc. But if you had seen from what kind of blurry underexposed too red and grainy stock (yes, my own, and a scrap I have not even submitted) I made this from, then I think you'd appreciate I got it as far as it is.
