A little Art-Trade with ~VulpesLunaris ♥ Here you can find her version of it . Theme was, to make a picture where Gary's sad and crying. We both wanted him to be on Island Shamouti, out of the second Pokémon movie. Because of ~VulpesLunaris loves Gary and Melody together (she's the first person I ever met who likes that shipping - I never knew before it even exists! O__O) I also said, we want to make her on the motive, too. So, here it is ♥ I really hope, you like it, Anna.

He never wanted to show his tears in front of others. On the isle of Shamouti - he thought - he could let his sorrow without shame. But as he sits there cowering a girl passed by, who heard the young trainer's sobs.
Melody: "Hey, what's wrong? Can I be of help?"
Gary: *flinches and wipes away tears* "Get lost! I wanna be alone!"
Melody: *pouts* "I surely won't!" One sentence and she knew the boy's soul by heart. "I know guys like you. Always acting super cool and tough, but they're complete pushovers. If you want to cry just go ahead and don't be ashamed of it." *sits down next to him* "And you do know the saying: A problem shared is a problem halved." *smiles*
Gary: *stares at the girl, completely confused*
Melody: "So come on, lay off your mask and tell me what's wrong!" *nudges him*
After some back and forth and every so often some encouraging (and unnerving) words the boy was convinced and started recounting...

Er wollte nie seine Tränen vor anderen zeigen. Auf der Insel Shamouti -so vermutete er- könne er seiner Trauer ohne Scham vollen Lauf gewähren. Doch während er so zusammengekauert da saß, kam ein Mädchen vorbei, das die Schluchzer des jungen Trainers vernahm.
Melody: "Hey, was hast du denn? Kann ich dir vielleicht helfen?"
Gary: *zusammenzuck und sich die Tränen schnell wegwisch* "Hau ab! Ich will allein sein!"
Melody: *schmoll* "Das werde ich ganz sicher nicht!" Ein Satz und sie kannte die Seele dieses Jungen schon in- und auswendig. "Typen wie dich kenne ich. Sie machen immer auf obercool und hart, aber haben einen ganz weichen Kern. Wenn du weinen willst, dann tu es einfach und schäme dich nicht dafür." *setzt sich neben ihn* "Außerdem weißt du doch bestimmt: Geteiltes Leid ist halbes Leid." *lächel*
Gary: *total irritiert und misstrauisch auf das Mädchen starrt*
Melody: "Also leg deine Maske ab und erzähl, was los ist!" *ihn in die Schulter knuff*
Nach einigem Hin und Her und immer wieder aufmunterten (und auch nervigen) Worten ließ sich der Junge überreden und begann zu erzählen...
