Description I did these sketches of MSNM V4047 a few years ago. I now think the lower jaw should be a little more elegant than this, but for a sketch I did a few years ago it’s still pretty good morphology wise, if I do say so myself. I never got around to uploading them, but recent events have once again sparked up my enthusiasm for Spinosaurus fossils and so, viola!

a- Upper jaw in dorsal view
b- Lower jaw in dorsal view
c- Upper jaw in left lateral view
d- Lower jaw in left lateral view
e- How I think the jaws of Spinosaurus fit together, forming an inescapable fish-trap (based on known material and my own specimen)

I see you've given it a bit more of an overbite than my interpretation here.

Yes after a Great post on the blog "The bite stuff" I spent LOT of time studing how the alveoli (and so teeth) can fit and the best interpretation of data was that overbite....

ps-the Sereno's cast Mount show an overbite even greater...

I noticed. I'm rethinking this, I'll probably redo it and have the jaws positioned somewhere in between they way I have them here and your 'slight' overbite...
