Suzaku in the lotus pond is the theme I had been wanting to draw for long time!
Lotus is the important flower in Buddhism. This flower is admired for how they grow and bloom beautifully from the mud.
Us people's society is dirty as the mud too, but Buddhists try to bloom themselves beautifully even in such environment.
That's the wish putted in this flower.

Heavenly Suzaku had been seeing that many people were reborn to the heaven through the heavenly lotus pond.
And he never stops dreaming that someday he will be one of those flowers too.
