Watercolor, zebra pen, white gel, & aquash brush. 1.7hrs. Just practicing with traditional mediums. I've been posting a lot of doodles/tradi art on twitter twitter.com/mmwoodcock and instagram www.instagram.com/mmwoodcock ( I also post random day-to-day posts of food, cats, and other silly stuff.)
Really enjoying this break from digital. Hope to incorporate what I like/learn from brush pens/watercolor to my digital stuff later. I'm working my way back up to finished art because for the last month 3 weeks, I've only been doing doodles and sketches.

I wouldn't have thought that it's a phone camera photo. I like it, it's something I'd hang on a wall or just display somewhere in my house.

First thought - The way the crow is perched looks like it would super uncomfortalbe.
Second thought this looks like it should be part of/be the cover of a short story anthology.
3rd thought - This is really pretty even with the poor quality.

That's why I drew little line marks by his claws to indicate piercing. I was going to paint blood dripping down bit no reason to add Gore 
I would scan it but I feel it was lose all subtle detail and watercolor shading.

But gore is a reason to add gore. 
And I've found the more subtle details are so so often lost regardless of how something is turned digital.

I snuck it in there. Purple is my favorite color. I imagine the crow telling her false stories, and she knows they are lies but plays along.
