Oh yes he's after a snack allright, when aren't theu on the lookout for some easy pickings LOL. and yes your feeling were right
it was gonna be a good one. I've had a dabble thismorning but the lights not good enough DOH!!!!! i came across a Swan in trouble
and had to reported it,damaged wing and very hungrey and distressed. Feel much better becaurse i know wendy personally who runs
a wildlife sancturary and she was going to go and rescue it today. she's a wonderfull woman.

Oh I am so glad it will be rescued. I would love to work in a place like that. Swans are hard to handle though. Swans need to know who is dominant in a relationship - sort of like a wolf. But they so do not pack like a wolf.
If they see anything white here even people they will challenge them for territory. I sometimes explain the white part to the tourists.

Yes me too, i was gutted when i saw it there, in 4 years i've never seen one in the Heronry simpley becaurse its so small and surrounded by trees and
a old aquaduct, know way did it fly in, must have got washed down from the res which is very possible, there's problems with ducklings
getting washed down allready. i know it will be in very safe and caring hands, she saved 2 of the 5 black cygnets we had a few years ago, she's an angel

She's a wonderfull woman, a heart of gold I recieved a email from wendy last night, it was good news indeed.

thanks for the photographs they are BRILLIANT. You are so tallented.

The swan is nicely tucked up in bed after eating me out of house and home, I have never known a swan so hungry. You were right her wing is badly bruised and she was really weak, if we had left her she would have not been alive tomorrow, so "well done mate".
