Description
This is the 34th piece in my Industrial Heart collection, entitled, Mechanical Zombie.

Like most of my Industrial Hearts, this piece starts with an anatomically correct human heart made from polymer clay - the base. With all of the components of a real human heart, it has also been made to look metallic and Industrial with its panelling and rivets.

This piece is a putrid green-metallic in colour, and has been zombified! Hoorah!

The entire piece is full of rotten things, from bloody gashes, brown chunky scabs with blood and pus, black wire stitches, large rivets, and lots and lots of bloodsplatter!

On the right side, a large chunk has been *bitten* out to reveal gooey pink maggot infested brains inside and it oozes a mixture of blood and pus as it leaks down the side.

The entire thing has been antiqued with brown acrylics to give it an aged and used rotten feel. As always, there is a stainless steel loop in the back which will be attached to a keyring style jump ring and strung onto a necklace.
