Description
Any Old Republic fans out there?Well basically, Revan was this awesome guy with a mask during the Old Republic. He temporarily fell to the dark side, but redeemed himself and could use both the light and dark sides of the force.
Wof Raven was an Skywing animus back during the War of Ice and Sky (read about it this lore journal !) I was totally going to draw him with an old fashioned helmet as his signature mask, but then it looked weird on a dragon, so I gave up.
Revan was also one of the reasons why I had so much trouble liking the new Star Wars sequels at first, mainly because they took Revan's cool design, gave him the personality of a pouty emo child, and called him Kylo Ren. Also the whole Reylo ship is really unoriginal since something similar (including the whole forcebond thing) had happened between Revan and Balista (who happens to parallel Rey).
And....I've heard a rumor that Disney made Revan female? (which I'm chill with, but seriously, they're trying too hard)

nah this is Revan, a grey jedi from the Old Republic (which sort-of canon)
Kylo Ren is kind of based off of Revan

I've heard of the Old Republic, but the only Legends I pay attention to are those of Kyle Katarn.
