Description **June 28, 2020 This was edited to reflect Ghost's palette

The heir and the spare were the terms Silas always heard in regards to his brother. It was something his entire family said and it did not take him to be a genius to understand that he was considered the spare- after all, he was the second son, he was addressed last at functions and his family regularly pointed out his flaws to him. They were hosting another Mayhew gala- Silas wasn't even sure for what reason this time but that he had to be in attendance and on his best behaviour.

"Silas, I do not emphasize this often, but tonight you need to be the utmost of an outstanding host and gentleman. Father he is- look, I am asking you as a favour to me, play the perfect son tonight. No sarcasm, no awkwardness. Just cool and collected." Vince's tone was not his stern demeanour as usual but there was an edge of a softness to it. Silas didn't know what Vince and Vincent had spoken about earlier, but it must have been enough to scare Vince into almost pleading with the 14 year-old. The entire time, Vince was staring at the doorway, not looking at Silas, as they awaited their first guests.
"Okay."

I've been meaning to draw Silas with his older brother Vince for a while- but this guy did not want to cooperate with me- but the third times the charm.

Vince is just about 2 years older than Silas and doesn't show much emotion. He also is a metahuman (but I may be altering his powers so stay tuned). These two rarely got along as they grew up due to tensions from their shared father.

The pose is from Young Justice Season 1 Episode 24: Performance of Dick Grayson and Roy Harper.
The background is from Batman: Bad Blood
