FINALLY! It's done!
I really love working on her. Inspired by my determination to be better! >D (sorry about the watermarks
)I've been desperately trying to finish some original artwork.

It was just a relaxing piece to do.
Don't ask me what type of fish it is. XD (imaginary flying goldfish?)
It was a pain to do the kelp. ORZ....

First of all, I need to congratulate you an awesome job of making a picture consistent in terms of colors. It's a hard work to keep a matching color palette, and to reuse colors. You did marvels here! Golden skin and fishie, blue hair/tail and background, accompanied with green kelp and fin is not only a coherent color scheme, but also a beautiful example of great skill ^^
Secondly, I want to tell you that you seem to perfeced something I can't grasp myself - using both soft airbrush and sharp lines in one picture. Te coloring is tender, while the highlights really stand out to make an impression of shiny, which combined gives a realistic effect of underwater. And the bubbles! So cute. Did you use a brush for them?
Also, don't worry about the watermarks - I fully understand you, and they don't get in the way too much, as you made them fit with the sorroundings.

Aww thanks. o_o it's like you can read my mind! haha. I try to make each individual color stand out as much as possible. Since I'm all about contrast now a days, I try using my sharp highlight lines to define shapes, and my softer and darker lights to define emotions.
And Thank you for bringing up the brush. i almost forgot to give credits. 
Yeah I really don't want to put watermarks, but I feel like in order to protect them I have to. Because recently i found out some art theft issues with my work, so it just made me more paranoid.

I luckily don't have any art thieft issues (bad enough so nobody wants to steal from me *sigh* ), but I know watermarks will prove handy one day, so I'm learning how to pot them in places where they wouldn't be very visible and still prove good enough. I learned another thing here!

You should always worry about art thieves, because some of them does not really understand art the way artist would. So they would take anything that fits their subject.

Yeah, I checked it out, sadly I use GIMP not Photoshop :< I wish these were compatibile in terms of patterns and brushes...
