It’s a little hard to explain but I will try! And ill post some photos of some things later for a better visual

But for the shoulders I made them each separately first with some fosshape (I got the thin quarter roll and I still have plenty left over; [link] ) It’s this flexible felt like material that stiffens to whatever shape you need it to be when you add steam.
I first made a few paper templates to adjust the size of them to my body size. Once I had each piece formed and ready to go I measured across my chest and cut a rectangular piece of fosshape out, then measured my back and cut a rectangular piece out. After steaming both of them flat I connected the shoulder pads with hot glue. It should look like a type of "chest armor".
Then for the cape part...
I bought 4 yards of fabric for it and it is actually made up of 2 separate pieces.
The first piece I made was the wrapped neck part.
(And for this I never used specific measurements) I cut off some of the white fabric and then just wrapped it around my neck like a scarf till I had the right creasing and twists and what not. After I had that and the right length I sewed each end together to form almost like an infinity scarf, and when I wear it I just twist around once.
Then the cape part.
I first put on the shoulder pads and then just draped the fabric over it and adjusted the length. Then I cut out a hole so my head could go through. With the extra fabric in the front I tucked it up under the triangular breast plate to cover it and the fabric hanging over the shoulders I did the same thing. Then I just adjusted the length in the back and hemmed it!
I then found that the back plate would stick out a little and the shoulders would move so I attached 2 pieces of ribbon to the back pate. So whenever I wear it I wrap the ribbon around my chest and tie it securely, and don’t worry, the ribbon gets covered up by everything else :]

I hope this helped! Pictures soon!

Oops I meant the chest piece was triangular, not rectangular! ^^'
