Nightwhispers SPOILERSThis is at the end of the book when Flametail falls through the ice while playing pray hole and Jayfeather tries to save him. But Flametail is too heavy and Rock is telling Jayfeather it's not his time to die and he can't save him and blahblahblah.
I really liked Flametail and I was very sad when he died. I couldn't beleive the Erins would kill him!!!
Anyways. Idk how I feel about this picture. I don't really like the background and the characters don't look like they're IN the background, just kinda sticking out in front of the water, not in the water.
It looks better than my first draft did so I really shouldn't complain.
The scanner took out some of the slight coloration details. But I guess I can live without 'em if you guys can

i rlly hate jayfeather for when they though his sis died. he was just selfish. he only cared about the prophecy and showed 0 greif for his sis. unless you count the fact that he thought she was in the prophecy was ruined 'cause she was "dead". i just despise jayfeather

I rlly hate that they blamed Jayfeather for Flametail's death.. Jayfeather is a BLIND MEDICINE CAT!!! Flametail is a medicine cat also BUT HE CAN SEE!!!! Jayfeather TRIED to save him! Thats better than his clanmates did Bl THEY are the ones that convinced him to play on the ice AND they didn't try to save him... ShadowClan made me really mad at that point... Good pic though :3

I don't like how the Erins kill a random cat just to provoke another reaction. Like with Snowkit, he was killed so that Speckletail would be a elder. Honeyfern was killed so that deathberries could be in the camp, and now Flametail died for what reason is not known, what a horrible thing

It's called careful planning. Doesn't change how upsetting deaths are, but they use them to help the book along

but it's cruel. For Honeyfern they showed her trying to get Berrynose to like her and finally they become mates only to have her die

Nah! This is way better than MY version! Mine stinks, and I cut out part of it! I was drawing Flametail sinking like a rock, already dead and his little bubbles leaving forever, and plunging into darkness, but it sucked because in the scetch Jayfeather was swimming in place with Rock (slightly transparent) floating next to him looking down on Flametail, but I can't draw cats swimming in mid-air!
