Cedarpelt nodded and went to work, it was getting darker and he was still tired, he wanted to get done and go to sleep. He started to paw up debris and pushed it to the edge of the camp. He saw Rainpelt and padded over to her. "Hey, I heard about Bloodstrike... you ok?" he asked sincerely
Willowclaw half glanced over at Cedarpelt then looked away. "Why wouldn't I be?" he spat. "She was born a rogue and died a rouge. She could hardly call herself a NightClan warrior." He flinched as Rainpelt battled angrily against him.
"You take that back!" she snarled. "She was twice the warrior you ever were!"
Cedarpelt flattened his ears then padded forward and blocked her path. "What is WRONG with you!" he mewed angrily. "She was your mentor and one of your best friends! Why are you acting like such a badger lately?" he mewed, his brows unfurrowed and he sighed. "I know you're upset will you just talk to me? We never talk anymore." he mewed, his ears rasing slightly.
Willowclaw narrowed his eyes and got to his paws. "Why do you care so much?" he growled, looking up at him through burning blue eyes. Suddenly, he felt a ripple of pain go through his head. Hearing the words tumble from her mouth, Rainpelt's heart twisted painfully. A wicked idea formed in Willowclaw's mind. "Have you ever considered that I might not want to tell you every single little thing that's going on in my head? I have a mate and kits. Why don't you just get your own life and get out of mine?" And with that, he pushed past Cedarpelt and stalked over to the nursery, a wicked smile forming on his lips as Rainpelt howled protests in his mind.

"I hate you!" she sobbed, her voice wobbly.

Willowclaw smirked. Looks like you're learning after all. Hate is what the world thrives on, my dear. Get used to it.

Cedarpelt stumbled as she shoved past him and he stood there and watched her go. His ears dropped and his heart twisted slightly before he turned and trudged across the clearing away from the nursery and didn't look back, he went into the warriors den and curled up in his nest with a gut-wrenching ache in his stomach. She was right... He closed his eyes but couldn't sleep. "Get your own life and get out of mine" the words replayed over and over in his head until it was a droning buzz that lulled him into a fitful sleep. Fine.... I will then...
Talonclaw's head snapped up and his eyes darted away from Bravelight and over to where Cedarpelt was. He saw Rainpelt stalking away and Cedarpelt looking crushed. His shoulder bristled slightly. "I'm sorry, Kestralpaw." He meowed. "But I may be a few more minutes. Why don't you go make a nest in the apprentice's den, so that when we get back and you're paws are sore and tired. You won't have to do it then, before you sleep." He meowed, remembering how tired he'd been after his first session with his mentor. He touched his tail to Bravelight's shoulder. "Wait here." He insisted, though she probably wouldn't listen he bounded over to the nursery pushing inside. His shoulder fur bristling slightly. He'd heard what she'd yelled at him. Cedarpelt didn't deserve that. "What is your problem?" he growled.
Willowclaw gritted his teeth as Talonclaw burst in after him. "Oh for the love of..." he grumbled under his breath before glaring over his shoulder at the tom. "What do you want?" he growled.
"I want you to march you stuck up butt back out there and apologize to Cedarpelt. I may not be your friend." He hissed at her. "But I'm Cedarpelt's, and I thought you were too!"He let his ears fall back. "What were you thinking? Cedarpelt has been there for you through everything! You worthless scrap of fur." He'd never particularily liked Rainpelt, he just left her be, but she was Cedarpelt's friend! "How could you do that to him!"
Willowclaw rose a brow at him. "You're not the boss of me," he growled smoothly. "And besides, this is between Cedarpelt and myself. He's a big boy, he doesn't need you fighting his battles for him." He looked him down contemptuously. "Now if you'll excuse me, your behavior is frightening my kits and it's about time that they went to bed." He turned away from him, showing he was done with the discussion.
"I'm not hear to fight his battles! I'm here to kick your but back into gear. What's wrong you you?" he growled, positioning himself in front of her so that she still had to speak with him. "You're being an idiot Rainpelt, snap out of whatever delusional depression you've buried yourself in. You're self-pity is getting on my nerves. Whatever it is that is bothering you Cedarpelt was willing and always has been willing to talk to you about it!" He narrowed his eyes and glanced at all the kits. "I'm probably not the only one who's scaring them either! Your behavior lately has surprise us all. This isn't you!" He hissed.

Willowclaw kept his back to Talonclaw, ignoring him completely. "Come here, my dears," he purred, trying to sound as sweet as possible. "You all must be exhausted after such a long day." He wrapped his tail around Willowkit and licked her forcefully between the ears, very un-maternally.
Talonclaw, his tail lashing tackled into Rainpelt hard, pinning her to the ground he gently shoved Willowkit away. "Listen to me!" He snarled, pressing his paw hard into her chest to keep her there. "You're being the biggest moron in NightClan's history which is saying a lot considering we just dealt with Wolfstar losing his mind! We don't need another nut-job in this clan! Apologize to Cedarpelt! To your friend! He's one of your best friends! Why would you want to hurt him like that!" He spat.
Cedarpelt's ear twitched as he heard yelling outside. He raised his head, Talonclaw? Oh no! He hurried to his paws trying unsuccessfully not to wake Eaglekit and hurried out of the den limping to the nursery he saw Talonclaw pinning down Rainpelt and his heart leapt into his throat. "Taloncalw STOP!" he shouted at the gray tabby.
Talonclaw's golden eyes flashed from Rainpelt to Cedarpelt, his whole pelt bristling with frustration. "She doesn't deserve your friendship, Cedarpelt. She doesn't deserve anything." He hissed, pressing harder into her chest, but his claws where sheathed. He wasn't harming her. "She doesn't deserve the grief you'll have over this lost friendship." He hissed, his eyes darting back to her face.
Cedarpelt hurried over and shoved Talonclaw off as gently as he could, not wanting to hurt him as well and lose another friend. "Just leave her alone..." he mewed to Talonclaw, hoping with every fiber he could see how much this was hurting him and stop before a rift grew between them too.
Talonclaw's hard eyes slowly lost their fire and his shoulders sagged, his fur smoothing. "okay." He gritted his teeth and walked past her and him. He looked at Bravelight before he glanced over his shoulder at Cedarpelt. "I'm sorry Cedarpelt." he finally meowed, he wasn't sorry to Rainpelt... She deserved it. "If you'll excuse me, I have an apprentice to train." He brushed his muzzle along Bravelight's before she slipped out of the nursery. He shouldn't let his temper get the better of him all the time, but he couldn't help it. As far as he was concerned, Rainpelt was dead to him.

Okay, to clear some things up for those of you who don't know, Rainpelt's body was "taken over" by her father, Willowclaw. She's trapped inside like a prisoner, unable to communicate or do anything. Only Willowclaw can hear her inside as he causes problems for her.
