Small-Clawed Otters are really common and popular zoo animals - and I completely understand, because they're fun and cute. We've seen a lot of individuals, and they really all are individuals. Some do look quite similar, but there are also plenty of them who look so different from others Mindy has a very distinctive face to me.
Species: Oriental Small-Clawed Otter (Aziatische Kleinklauwotter)
Latin name: Aonyx Cinerea
Originates from the Oriental.
Current status: Near Threatened
Did you know:
…The Oriental Small-Clawed Otter naturally is named after its claws; they do not extend beyond the fleshy end pads of its partially webbed fingers and toes.
