Description Never know where to put these category-wise...
anyway.

A two-dollar (well theoretically, though the machine ate my first coin so it ended up at $4) gundam model out of a vending machine. (I've labelled it #1 since there's a reasonable possibility of there being more of them, though that depends on how generous the vending machines are)

pity his gun's a bit bent though.
This is for scale purposes...

(they've got little displays on top of the machines showing off what you could get, and there's the 3rd Angel from Evangelion that is so cool. Can't quite work out how it'd fit in one of the little bubbles though...)

I had an undercoat of citadel black to begin with, and yep hand painted. It's always annoying hand-painting larger ones I find (at least if you're going for the legit look) to get a nice finish but hey, you get there good luck!

While fiddly bits are an issue if you're painting by hand I always find getting a nice finish on large areas damn difficult. (Normally I end up cheating a bit and just going with lots of battle-damage so I get away with not being quite so neat

Well I painted it as the Force Impulse from Destiny but only because I've got another kit of it so I knew the colours; otherwise I'm fairly clueless about itβ€”I couldn't read the info that came with it, and I don't have that now so I'm not even sure which series it's from.

If I happen to get another one from the same set I might be able to work it out...

I can't help but laugh at that as my most recent Gundam model in my gallery's one I added extra florescent transparent pink bits to... But I didn't realise this was one of the clear ones either, I might try that with my Stargazer...
