Alright, here's the lines to the second of three pictures that I have planned for Halloween. This time it's none other than the Cyborg Fighter/Athlete Extraordinaire turned Superheroine Nicole Vetter aka Diamond cosplaying as Steelheart from the old 80's cartoon Silverhawks.

Brief info if you aren't familiar with the Silverhawks...they were a team of humans that were to be sent into space to battle with the evil Mon-Starr (Yes, that's really his name...c'mon, it was the 80's! ) Being that a normal human couldn't handle the rigors of space travel and effectively do battle the five participants that were chosen for the Silverhawks program underwent cybernetic surgery, as this mission called for heroes that were "partly metal, partly real!" Steelheart, real name Emily Hart, and her twin brother Will were world class athletes before they were chosen to be a part of the Silverhawks project. However, as they were undergoing their transformation into cyborgs, their organic hearts failed and were replaced with bionic steel hearts...thus the names Steelheart and Steelwill!

As for Nikki, she was watching cartoons during her downtime one day and saw an episode of Silverhawks. She used to watch the cartoon as a kid and always had loved Steelheart; whenever she would play with the boys she would always pretend to be Steelheart and kick everyone's ass! She also realized that her life was very much like Steelheart's, as she too was a world class athlete that was turned into a chromed out cyborg superheroine. Knowing that Halloween was coming up she got the idea of going as Steelheart, so she stood up and formed her cyber symbiote into the design of Steelheart's body. She ran to the mirror and saw that she looked just like Steelheart with dark skin and ran about her HQ like a little schoolgirl showing off her costume! And like she's saying in the pic above...she didn't even have to pay one dime for her costume!

As for the actual pic...I like how it came out. I had some trouble with her arms, the right side of her torso, and her left leg with that pose and the perspective that it's in. And I think I could've done better with her wings, but I think that it doesn't look too bad as a whole...I'm sure it will look even better in color!
