There is not much to add. Rich Moore has changed of studio (signed with Sony) ... just like Turbo did many years ago, changing of game. Some people are disappointed with this notice, mainly Vanellope, who used to love the director of her two adventures ... and now ... she feels hurt and betrayed. Poor Vannie! her tears droping down for her cheeks...and Ralph can only see and suffer...you know that they both are heart-connected....if she's happy, he's happy. If she cries, he feels his heart break...
The worst part is what you said: we'll never have a third WIR or a second Zootopia...and it is a pain! Of course, knowing the dark side of Disney, we could see bad sequels direct to DVD or TV movies, that are always horrible and forgettable.Β More reasons to appreciate our beloved films!

I think that the mention of spiders is a good joke, because she don't know about Spider-man, she only heard about spiders in Sony and think they are real.Β Β Β I love this kind of innocent and childish humor.Β
Yes, we need to be patient and positive. Perhaps Disney hire a new talent with bring us a lot of amazing movies, and perhaps Rich Moore bring us new good stories from his new workplace, who knows!
I made this drawing in two days, using only pencil and a black pen (of course, photoshop for the letters) obtaining a rustic style. Of course, a colored drawing is more attractive to eye, but paint this could have take a week and I wanted post it while I felt touched.Β

He signed with Sony Animation latest days of April. I'm really sad with this matter, because Moore left a super studio, where he made three of the best animated movies of last decade in just 6 years....and I don't understand what can offers Sony to him, as artist, (Surely a lot of money). And, in my case, I was really angry and dissapointed with the latest awards where Spider-man (from Sony) won absolutelly all awards, and Ralph's movie didn't won anything. Then, if he would have signed with other studio, perhaps it could be more digestible...but it had to be Sony!

yes, of course. I know well he is a very good professional and a fine storyteller. I hope his future productions don't be pure superhero movies or scatologic comedies, I prefers works more in line with the Lasseter style: good stories about friendship, about love, etc.Β Time will tell.
