Hikaru no go is one of my favorites too, I don't care if people thing this "out dated" its great. Your picture is beautiful. I love the way you did it all the lines looking soft, almost like they really are caught in the snow. Akira's eyes however are phenomenal.

"Out of date"?! Why? Because the story ended? No way! The manga is the best I ever read! (I was disappointed by the anime, though. The only things I liked about it were the openings and endings.)

your christmas theme drawings are all so nice ~ akira and hikaru are really looking cute at your style ! like the way how the drawing is light really much, it's wintry and really lovely to look at ^_^ characters are wonderfully drawn as always, lining is so clean and soft in them. lining colour fits well with the rest of the colouring and like the way it doesn't stand out too much from the colouring theme. like the expressions of the characters ~ hikaru looks really enjoying while akira is more like being surprised from the way how his friend is being so overjoyed. positions are nice too, like the way how hikaru is like jumping to give a hug for akira clothing design fits well with the holiday and winter theme. hikaru's clothes are bringing the idea of santa claus while akira is like reindeer, especially like the tiny horn which akira has. clothes look really fluffy and warm, which gives warm touch for the atmosphere too tough the background colouring is quite pale. like the way how there isn't much details on the clothes of the characters, it gives nicely plain effect which goes well together with the background. redish tones gives brightening and warming for the blue tones which in return are balancing the red and giving peacefulness. colouring is overall really soft which makes the drawing really sweet to look at and the tones are blending really neatly together. wonderful work as always ~ you should do more drawings from hikaru no go !
