“What is your name little redbird?” He cocked his head as she just stared at him, her face darkening. A short quick smile flashed across his face, impatient. “Answer me pretty, now.” Nervousness flickered on her face, then utter disappointment. He laughed then, and it echoed in the emptiness of the lower dungeons. “You cannot speak? How convenient for whomever locked you here! You shall never betray him and he shall never be brought to justice! Not that there would be much justice for one such as you.” He opened the cell door with a single kick, cackling madly when he found it had been unlocked the whole time. “That chain kept you here? How thoroughly cruel, taunting you with an unlocked door.”

He stepped closer, squatting down to put a finger under her chin, another to trace over the curl of one round ear. “Little human girl. No justice for you. I think that you were once quite pretty. Perhaps if I fatten you up a bit you’ll be pretty again.” He smirked. “You shall be a new Quai’Rae for me.”

A sad tale penned by :iconastreix:, which features our favorite characters (Jack and Link) as well as our OC's getting thrown into the mix. I'm missing a few details in the picture, such as a small red gem on Link's forehead and a collar on the redhead's, (Jade for those who know), which is part of the story, but that wasn't the purpose here.

Link has taken on the name of Lord Daquin; a servant of the Great Lord of the World... and pretty much the world sucks.
