Acrylics on Canvas 80 x 80This is a Re-paint of My "Balkan Beat Gipsy King"
Inspired by the Gipsy Punk band Gogol Bordellos Lead singer Eugene Hรผtz
I think I captured the wild spirit so much better this time (what do you think?) the former version was more like (as someone mentioned) more Like the dug up zombie of Freddie Mercury *lol*

yeah hard not to like him ha ha ha, I saw them here in Vienna like a year ago os something, I also saw the related Balkan Beat Box (consisting of at least one former gogol bordello member)...
well I hope I did capture it, but I am not that certain, but glad you like it, but another day I will try again to capture him better (hopefully) since he has so much spirit he is ahrd to capture... *lol*

Please stay away from jehovahs witnesses that is a cult they rewrote the original bible long ago.. I used to teach adult sunday school so i know my bible and i know who are the cults. the reason the jehovahs Which is one name for the true living God. They dont celabrate Christmas because they dont believe that our lord Jesus Christ Is Gods son and he is God.listen to this scripture. (In the beginning was the word and the word was with God and the word was God and the word became flesh and walked amung us.) So one name for Jesus is the word. Think about that. Love ya brother.

well we could discuss the jehovas Witness thing all day, but I have to say I am definetly not a witness, definetly not...
as I said before I am not even religious, and I propably hate the organisation more than you, but I donยดt hate the people, and yes they are a sect and if you get in there you are gonna have a hard time ever getting out...
but I have no contact with that part (and many other parts) of my family anymore...
well what they did with the bible was not to rewrite it but they went back to the original greek and hebrew scriptures and made a new translation (with a few faults)
but Jehovas withnesses donยดt belive in trinity jesus-god-the holy ghost so I guess if you see it throught there eyes only god is the world, jesus is just the son of god...

Long live Eugene Hutz!!!! Yes, you definitely captured his crazy energy and passion! Gogol Bordello is a fantastic band! I love how Hutz shreds a song to pieces! Great painting!

I saw them live two years ago and the show was the best show I have ever seen! The crowd was just a wave of people dancing! One of the best times I've ever had! I keep hoping they will make it around this way again. I've been following Gogol Bordello pretty much from the beginning. Their energy is fantastic!!!

Yes I do like Kultur Shock! Their music to me has more of an aggressive edge than Gogol Bordello, but that's one of the main reasons I like them! I haven't seen them live yet, but I would like too. Yeah, I would think their live concerts would be awesome!
