I love how stylised it looks and so bold!

Lee definitely was SO much of a Miller fan.
even the way he modeled his own iconic Batman after the dark knight.
bulky muscles, thick neck, very squared jaw, short bat-ears.
but Lee's is much more refined looking!

you can look at so many of the Batman artists from over the years and see where some definitely took influence from others. without a doubt i can see Jim Jee has a definite influence on Greg Capullo and Tony S. Daniel. but i can really see where both those artists have added their own unique voice and made the Character their own. then there are artists like Dave Mazzucchelli who really took influence from the dark Batman art of the early 40's and reinvented it for a new era in Batman Year One. you already know my thoughts on Neal Adams and what he did for the character!!!!
and SO many artists have taken from Neal Adams over the years!
when you get into it there's such a rich history to explore with all these artists and their different styles! quite extraordinary!!!

he actually took that pose from a panel from the "Knightfall" saga when Bruce Wayne finally comes back as Batman! pretty funny huh? and you never see that mentioned anywhere. all artists take influence from other artists, and sometimes take more than just influence.
