Description
One of the fall migrants who passed through my yard. I took this photo off of my deck. Yard birding has been excellent this fall - there are times where 5 birds are foraging on the same branch. This particular Blue-headed Vireo was also singing fragmented songs.Stroudsburg, Pennsylvania

Beautiful shot of a very pretty bird! I love the colour scheme of that vireo. Like how his whole body just seems split at the neck, colour wise. Strictly blue tones in front, strictly yellow/green behind. I'm amazed at how close you managed to capture him!

Thank you! I get lucky sometimes during migration - they will come right up to my deck along with the usual feeder birds
