HIIIIIIIIIIIII !!!I wanted to post this as a "Welcome Sonika!" drawing, but my scanner decided to die in the worst moment possible. So I suppose it's more like a "Happy belated birthday!" picture XD.
A lot of people are portraying Sonika as mature and rebellious but, when I heard her voice, I thought she was more like the innocent and girly type. So I went with that image. Maybe I overdid it. Probably.
I'm not convinced about how it turned out... her face looked very cute when I sketched her, but as I went on inking and coloring, it somehow turned out a little stupid @@. I'm sorry!

Quería subir esto como un dibujo de "Bienvenida, Sonika!", pero mi scaner decidió morirse en el peor momento. Supongo que ahora es un dibu de "Feliz Cumpleaños atrasado!" XD.
Mucha gente está dibujando a Sonika como una chica madura y rebelde pero, cuando oí su voz, me pareció que era más bien del tipo inocente y femenino. Así que la dibujé acorde a esa imagen. Creo que me pasé un poco. Un poco bastante.
No me convence como me quedó... cuando la aboceteé, la cara me salió muy linda, pero a medida que iba entintando y coloreando, empezó a parecer cada vez más y más retrasada @@. ¡Lo siento!

I also see Sonika as girly and innocent. Perhaps she can just be an English tsundere or something.
As much as I think that people go overboard on the whole Violent girl thing.
I think Sonika can work as somebody who can be a bit snippy but still very feminine and girly.

The main problem I have with the Violent girl type is how overdone is in the Vocaloid fandom: Rin, Meiko, Luka... even Prima and Miku sometimes fall into that stereotype. I don't understand why some people would want an harem full of psycho-singers, isn't it more fun if we have some variety?
I see Sonika as someone who likes to act mature and sexy because she thinks she looks cooler that way, but doesn't quite achieve it and ends up being oddly cute XD.
